The Pig Rig was developed for anglers who want maximum flexibility when choosing their lure. Thanks to the rear-mounted bait screw, you can use virtually any trailer or tail and perfectly adapt the lure to the situation at hand. The trailer is simply screwed onto the bait screw and sits securely on the head.
 
When paired with a paddle tail, the Pig Rig produces an enticing rolling action and powerful vibration. Combined with a double-tail grub, it can be worked similarly to a jerkbait or retrieved steadily in a traditional manner. This allows you to create a wide variety of actions using just a single head.
 
The distinctive flat head design generates strong pressure waves underwater, giving predators the impression of a particularly worthwhile prey item. The powerful water displacement is clearly noticeable during both retrieves and jerking presentations, making the Pig-Rig a true trophy pike magnet.
 
Like our proven bucktail lures, the Pig Rig is tied using premium-quality bucktail sourced from the USA. The long, natural hairs of the North American white-tailed deer move lively in the water and provide additional attraction. The natural movement and unique action of high-quality bucktail are difficult to replicate with synthetic fibers or lower-grade natural hair.
 
For maximum durability, every Pig Rig is sealed multiple times with two-component epoxy resin. At its core is a laser-cut plate made from sea water resistant stainless steel (1.4571). An attachment eye on the underside is designed for connecting the hook system. For optimal rigging, we recommend our Hook Chain, available in various lengths and hook sizes.
 
As bucktail is a natural material, slight colour variations may occur even among standard models.
