The Hero Huchen Mouse is a further development of our hybrid bait and is suitable for all large salmonids as well as large pike. Its appearance is very similar to that of a mouse. The material is also very similar to that of a mouse, as essentially only natural hair and fur is used, no rubber at all.
The voluminous head, which creates an enormous pressure wave in the water, is constructed in a similar way to our other models, but the Huchen Mouse does not have a conventional rubber tail, as is used in normal spin fishing, but rather a feather-light tail made of rabbit fur strips (Zonker stripes) and a bucktail consisting of three joints for fantastic action in the water.

This has several major advantages!
- The bait is a real big bait at 25 to 30 cm, but only weighs a whopping 20 to 25 grams dry. This means you can cast this bait for hours without quickly getting tired.

- The Zonker tail consists of a hinged stainless steel wire, diameter 1.6 mm, at the end of which a single BKK-LONESNIPER hook of size 1/0 is attached with a snap ring, which is covered by feather-light strips of rabbit fur. The Zonker tail has an almost irresistible attraction for all predatory fish and plays seductively in the water with the slightest pull. This creates an even more realistic swimming behavior, like a rubber trailer. The Zonker stripes are wafer-thin, so that the fish can suck them in effortlessly. Because the rear hook is attached right at the end of the tail, there are almost no missed bites.

- With the Hero Huchen-Maus you have all the advantages of fly fishing with large streamers. The fantastic and realistic swimming behavior is particularly prominent here, but the Huchen-Maus can be cast on a normal spinning rod or casting rod (baitcaster). Because the center of gravity of the bait is directly on the head, it is child's play to cast. Thanks to the special construction, the bait hardly tangles at all.

- In contrast to a rubber tail, the tail is almost indefinitely durable and can withstand many fish attacks. The BKK-LONESNIPER hook used is an extremely robust single hook that can be sharpened several times if necessary.

Similar to the large streamers used in fly fishing for pike, the bait is essentially made of bucktail (a purely natural product, the hair of the North American white-tailed deer) and rabbit fur. With or without flash (glitter stripes) on request. We only use premium bucktail from the USA. The long hair of the head plays seductively in the water and thus creates an additional attraction. The centerpiece of the head is a laser-cut plate made of 1.4571 stainless steel, which is seawater-resistant. The Huchen-Maus is primarily designed for fishing close to the surface, but can also be brought to almost any desired water depth - to do this, simply attach a quick-change weight to the underside of the head, using the eyelet provided for this purpose.
Only high-quality components are used, which are designed for a load capacity of at least 35 kg.
Bucktail is a natural product, which means that there may be slight color deviations even in the standard models.
